Overview

We’re excited to share our experience with our first cat stroller! We’ve been using it for a year, and it’s been one of the main inspirations for starting this blog. When we started walking them in the stroller, we didn’t realize how lucky we got by buying this and how many things we could do. We don’t have a formal rating system (yet), but we’ll share what worked and what didn’t.

80% of the time, Keanu and Blossom ride together in the stroller. Our cats have joined us on many trips, including:

  • Easy trips (1x/week): short, leisurely strolls around the block
  • Destination visits (1x/month): longer trips to outdoor areas or family’s homes where we let them out

If you would like a recap of the other type of cat trips, here’s our last article about that.

~UPDATE~

The MSMASK pet stroller I originally bought on Amazon is no longer available as of 2/2/26. Since many readers still ask about a similar option, I searched Temu for the closest replacements that match the original stroller’s size, frame design, and storage layout as closely as possible.

Here I assembled the closest alternatives on Temu I could find to match the original specifications:

  • Basket Size: 26″ x 13″
  • Storage: Open storage underneath basket
  • Frame Design: foldable
  • Features: removable basket, cup holders, single handle for basket, wheel brake

If you want the closest match to the original MSMask pet stroller, I recommend the Closest Replacement because of the similar frame design, open storage, and similar basket. It’s the best all-around replacement I could find so far

Likes

  • The entry-level price for a 2-cat stroller is a great value. We were impressed that it could accommodate both Keanu (14 lbs) and Blossom (6 lbs).
  • The easy-open top is quick to use. See our article about cat safety and keeping the top secure in certain situations.
  • The large wheels handle uneven roads and pavement with ease – its a smooth ride.

Dislikes

  • The 3-wheel design can cause the stroller to tip over when navigating inclines or uneven surfaces. We’ve learned to be cautious when pushing the stroller up or down an incline at an angle, for example a steep driveway or ramp. (Would like to compare this more with a 4 wheel stroller)
  • When detaching the cat carrier from the stroller, we recommend holding one hand on the bottom and one on the handle. If you only hold from the handle, the basket can tip over from the cat(s) moving around or being on one side. (see below)

Tipping Basket – recommend using one hand on the handle and the other on the base

Recommendation

This stroller is perfect for cat owners on a budget or those looking for a basic model before investing in a more advanced one. If you’re looking for alternatives, check out The Spruce Pets’ article on the best cat strollers, which features similar models with detachable baskets and the same shape. However most there feature 4 wheels vs 3 here.

Would we recommend it? Yes! This stroller has been a great addition to our cat-parenting adventures with Keanu and Blossom. In the future we plan on completing some more upgrades and experimenting with other types of transportation such as Wagons and 4-wheeled strollers!

Potential Upgrades

Overall, we’re planning on keeping this stroller because of how versatile it is and planning on upgrading it. Usually, we take stroller rides in the afternoon or early evening (before dark) and dont like to go out under 60F or above 80F. We live in the Bay Area so the weather is pretty temperate.

In the future we can add more accessories so we can go out at other times like night or bad weather:

  • Lights and reflective strips for safer night walks
  • Larger tires for more comfort
  • Bag hooks and phone holders for daily usability
  • Clip-on fans to keep them cool during warmer weather
  • Blankets or wind blockers to help with cooler weather

Stay tuned for our upcoming articles where we’ll dive deeper into these upgrades!
